Summary:

This plan is designed for those businesses who rely on a high-speed Internet connection for business critical applications. We provide two connections from our network centre to your premise. One connection is a symmetrical high-speed wireless connection for fast uploads to the Internet. The second connection is a high-speed 3-6 Mb DSL connection for extra reliability during severe weather or radio interferences.

A router that supports both connections with automatic failover and load balancing, but not connection bonding, is provided as part of the service, or you may choose to install separate network connections for separate groups of users at your premise. Web hosting, domain registration, electronic mail handling, multiple IP addresses and unlimited transfers are included.

This plan is unique among ISP's, and flexible enough to meet your Internet needs. If you upgrade the plan to include additional DSL connections to residences to support telecommuting, govital will give you a special rate for those residential connections.

Included:

The following features are part of this plan.

• Custom Domain
  We will register a new Internet domain name for you, and set up mail transfer and Web hosting for that domain.
• Up to 50 Mailboxes on your domain
  You can create up to 50 mailboxes, each with a 50 MB size limit to handle incoming mail for your business. These mailboxes can be accessed from the Web or from any program that supports POP mail retrieval. Creation and maintenance of these mailboxes is done through a Web-based control panel.
• Web Hosting with MySQL Support
  Our Premium Web Hosting Plan is included at no extra charge. You can store up to 250 MB of data files on the Web in your own Web site that supports programming tools, form processing, Web accessible control panel to configure username/password secured Web directories, and statistics.
• DSL Modem AND Wireless Subscriber Unit
  A DSL modem or Wireless Network Subscriber Unit with antenna is included with no extra rental fees.
• LAN Switch
  A Local Area Network switch to support up to eight computers will be provided if you don't already have one.
• NAT Firewall Router with Dual WAN Support
  A firewall router, with dual WAN connection support for link failover and network load balancing is included with no extra rental fees. This ensures a steady connection to the Internet via wireless and land line connections.
• Provisioning of DSL Line AND 5.2 or 5.8 GHz Subscriber Unit
  Depending on your location, you will be serviced through a 3 Mb ADSL connection through your telephone line and via 5.2 or 5.8 GHz commercial-class radio link.
• Static IP Addresses
  Your business will be given up to three static (fixed) Internet address for your router and an internal server. This means that you can easily setup connections to other Internet computers easily so that you can either run Web servers, file servers or an electronic mail server at your premise. Additionally, a static IP address makes applications like video-conferencing and end-to-end secure connections easier.
• Basic On-Site Installation
  A govital technician will visit your premise and install and test the modem, acess point, network router, enhanced firewall and/or network switch. The customer is responsible for connecting computers to the network switch.
• Access to the authenticated SMTP relay server which allows you to send outgoing mail from a non-govital connection. This is useful for travellers who frequent hotspots with mobile computers.
• Creation and registration of an SSL certificate for your Web site.
  This allows you to easily encrypt transmissions going in and out of your Web site so that you can handle sensitive information over the Internet with more protection.

Options:

The following options can be provisioned separately to make your connection more powerful.

• $24.99/month additional: An additional static IP address, that you can use for a server or additional router at your premise.
• $149.99/year additional creation and registration of an additional SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate for your Web site. This allows you to easily encrypt transmissions going in and out of your Web site so that you can handle sensitive information over the Internet with more protection.
• $36.99/month per connection additional: Provisioning of our residential DSL service for an individual associated with your business. This will be added to the invoice charge to the business. The residence must be within Bell Nexxia DSL coverage area. Check for DSL Availability.
• $74.99/month additional: You are provided with an enhanced firewall router with built-in VPN (Virtual Private Network) tunnel technology. This will allow you to encrypt communications from off-site to your site. This will involve the installation of additional, freely available software on the off-site computer.

Notes:

Some additional things to consider

• Modems, firewalls, antennae and subscriber units remain the property of govital internet inc. and must be returned upon termination of service.
• The network services are monitored 24/7. The call center for technical support is open during regular business hours but you are also given access to our commerical customer emergency telephone number which will put you directly in touch with a network technician via mobile telephone or pager.
• This plan is subject to availability. You must be in Bell Nexxia service area and within 1 kilometre of a govital wireless Access Point. Call to verify.
• You will be charged extra in case your premise has characteristics that make the installation of network cables, LAN devices, or a rooftop antenna difficult. Firm pricing will be provided on a quote form after we perform a site visit to make an assessment.
• Contract details, terms and limitations will be provided and agreed upon before installation and service begin.
